Does a bass have good bass? I would love to think that bass swimming around have bass but maybe bass are actually more falsetto. But that begs the question do bass sound the way they do depending on whether they are small mouth or big mouth? I for one love bass but I think the bass is obnoxious even if it is a 5 string and played by Les Claypool. I like my bass grilled nicely but I love my bass to keep the rhythm.  Since bass travels differently underwater I think bass shouldn't be swimming in schools.
